Heavy Duty Poly Trip Edge Blade Assembly
Using 6 laser cut vertical ribs, 3/8" x 3" and two horizontal supporting structures, we have made a very rugged stand alone frame to which we have bolted our 3/8" thick HD polyethylene skin. The use of the poly skin greatly reduces the rolling friction imparted by wet, sticky snow. This results in more snow moved per pass, less strain on the power train, and better fuel economy. The trip edge poly blade comes with a 6" deflector as standard. Through the mid-section of the plow are 4 extra supports to handle our new 14" x 1" A-frame kingpin. This pin has greasable bushings at the top and bottom of the pin housing, allowing for such good stability, that it does not require a quadrant. The kingpin housing is welded to our 2½" x 1/4" wall tubing A-frame, giving it tremendous strength. The plow has a full blade angle of 30° to the right and left, through our 1½" x 10" power angle cylinders. The plow is available in 90" (7½'), 96" (8'), and 108" (9').
Heavy Duty Poly Trip Edge V Blade
This plow can operate from a full "V" to a "scoop" and all positions in between. Three laser cut vertical 3/8" ribs (per section) are welded to the top angle, and the bottom steel base channel. Using a reinforced pin housing (2 ½" round tubing x 5/8" wall) we made a very rugged stand alone frame to which we have bolted our 3/8" thick UHMW polyethylene skin. The use of the poly skin greatly reduces the rolling friction imparted by wet, sticky snow. This results in more snow moved per pass, less strain on the power train, and better fuel economy. The V poly blade comes with a 6" deflector as standard. The A-frame is attached to the blade by a 1 3/16" diameter pin x 23 ½" long. This pin is greaseable in the pin housing. The plow has a full blade angle of 30° in "V" and scoop position, through our 1 ½" rod diameter x 2 1/4" piston rod diameter x 9" stroke power angle double acting cylinders. The plow is available in 96" (8') and 108" (9') sizes
